Software Implementation and Integration Specialist
Overview
Hertzler Systems Inc., a leading provider of business software solutions is seeking a full-time Software Implementation and Integration Specialist. The Software Implementation and Integration Specialist is responsible for providing technical support, training, deployment and integration services for Hertzler products.
The ideal candidate will have experience with software support, have prior exposure to the manufacturing sector, and be very literate with computer software. The position requires a high level of technical competence in the areas of databases, information technology, and statistics, as well as excellent communication skills and ‘people’ skills.
Skills needed
- Extremely high level of computer literacy with databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Pervasive and Oracle), Microsoft operating systems, and networks.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) – the ability to talk to people about technical details at a level they can understand, as well as the ability to communicate professionally in written form.
- Experience with programming languages; knowledge of HTML and JavaScript is a plus.
- Ability to creatively connect customer’s business issues with possible solutions using Hertzler products.
- Ability to travel (60%).
- Proven track record in a team environment, yet able to function independently when needed.
- Process oriented, and able to document activities.
- Experience in the Manufacturing Quality field is a plus.
- Experience with Adobe Design Suite (or comparable design studio) is a plus.
Job duties
- Provide support to customers, prospects, and marketing partners on Hertzler software products.
- Provide customer training in public classes or at customer sites as needed.
- Provide software implementation and integration services at customer sites as needed (may require up to 60% travel).
- Other duties as required - may include:
- Projects involving software specification, design and testing
- Stay current with technology and technology issues.
- Develop training materials
- Assist with writing and/or editing software manuals
