Setting up shortcuts to perform automatic functions

You can create or modify the shortcuts for most modules so that they perform a specialized function for you. See Table of all parameters

To create or modify specialized shortcuts, follow these steps:

  1. Copy the original shortcut from the Windows Start\Programs\GainSeeker menu, or create a shortcut for the GainSeeker program you want to launch. For a list of the program files that correspond with GainSeeker modules, see Application Files used in GainSeeker. You change the name of this new shortcut to reflect its special function. For information on creating, copying and renaming shortcuts, launch Help from the Start menu to access help on using your version of Windows.

  2. Right-click the new copy of the shortcut, and then click Properties.
  3. Click the Shortcut tab.

  4. Press the END key to move the cursor to the end of the Target box.

  5. Type one space.

  6. Add a parameter to the Target box.

  7. To add another parameter to this shortcut, repeat steps 5 and 6.

  8. When finished adding parameters, click OK to save changes to the shortcut.
