Turning on Feedback

Feedback allows you to execute template commands when a real-time failure occurs.

For example, you can set up Feedback to perform one or more of the following functions if a real-time failure occurs:

You can set Feedback options for any row in the template. You can only set Feedback options for one row at a time.

To set Feedback options for a row of the template:

  1. Click in any cell of the row for which you want to set Feedback options.

  2. Click Row n feedback.

  3. On the Feedback Options for Row n screen, select any check box on any tab for one or more types of real-time failures.

  4. For each check box you select, type the commands and formulas you want to execute when this type of failure occurs. You can also click Paste to select the commands and formulas from a list.

Tip: If you selected multiple check boxes, you can view the order in which these formulas will be executed by clicking View Order.

Note: The template will only be able to provide feedback for the real-time checks you specify here if you set up the standard to check for these real-time failures.
