Using colors for OEE data

You may want to display charts for some or all of the OEE metrics (OEE, Availability, Quality, and Performance) together on the GainSeeker Charts window. Assigning a specific color to each metric can help you to quickly distinguish the chart for each metric. The colors you set for each metric also display in the OEE Combined chart shown in the image featured below.

• You can temporarily set a unique color for each metric to easily identify each chart. These colors also carry over to the OEE Combined chart for that session when you duplicate any of the charts for the individual metrics.

• The colors can be set as defaults in the GainSeeker System Administration module.

• You can also save these settings as a Chart Skin that you can apply to all OEE charts.

If you do not set the OEE colors

If you do not set colors for the individual metrics, GainSeeker uses a succession of colors for the OEE metrics on the OEE Combined Chart and the default setting color for the four metrics charts.

GainSeeker uses the OEE Markers settings to set the color for the data on OEE charts.

Follow this path on the Settings tab to specify individual colors for OEE data:

Then, locate the settings: OEE, OEE Availability, OEE Performance, and OEE Quality. Double-click the Marker color settings for each to specify a color.
