Using the GainSeeker Charts window Toolbar

The toolbar on the GainSeeker Charts window gives you quick access to the most commonly-used functions for charting and dashboarding your data.

Getting familiar with the toolbar buttons

If you do not have any charts, dashboards, or desktops open on the GainSeeker Charts window, some of the buttons may not be available for use.

Create DMS charts

Open, create, or manage Dashboards

Open or manage Desktops

Create OEE charts

Open the Print dialog for the active chart window

Send the active chart window out to the Windows clipboard, to another program, to an e-mail, or to a file

Tile all of the open chart windows

Duplicate the active chart window

Change the SPC Settings or DMS Settings for the active chart window

Change the Date Period for the active chart window

Change the Filter for the active chart window

Change the Group By or Sort By settings for the active chart window:

Change the Chart Title settings for the active chart window:

  • Print Title (top row)

  • Title 2 (middle row)

  • Title 3 (bottom row)

Change the X-Axis Labels for the active chart window

Launch the Variation Wizard, Drill-down Wizard, or Overpack Wizard for the active chart window

Refresh the data and statistics for the active chart window family

Opens the Online User Guide chapter on using the GainSeeker Charts module

Hiding or displaying the toolbar

To display or hide the toolbar, click the Desktop menu, then click the Show Toolbar option.

When the toolbar is in display mode, a check box is visible left of the Show Toolbar option. When the toolbar is in hide mode, no checkbox is visible.
